March 14, 2008 - Local deadline for NJ Conservation Poster Contest.

April 2, 2008 - Central NJ Envirothon Training Workshop to be held at the Forest Resource Education Center in Jackson, NJ. Contact the District for registration information.

April 19, 2008- Earth Day Celebration sponsored by the Mercer County Improvement Authority. 10am to 2pm at the Mercer County Park Ice Skating Rink (rain or shine).

April 27 to May 4, 2008 - National Stewardship Week sponsored by the National Association of Conservation Districts.

May 10, 2008 - NJ Envirothon to be held at the Duke Farms, Hillsborough, Somerset County, NJ.

May 2008 - Hamilton Township Azalea Festival at Sayen Gardens, 9am to 4pm.

July 28 - August 3, 2008 - Canon Envirothon. A natural resources problem solving competition for high school students, at Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff, AZ.

August 3 - 5, 2008 - National Association of Conservation Districts, Northeast Regional Meeting, Portsmouth, NH.

September 2008 - Come visit our display booth at Hamilton Township's Septemberfest in Veterans Park! 9am to 5pm.
